March 10, 2000 ~ Tired Being
I have a paper due at twelve o'clock noon on Sunday. Sunday. Only Dr. Bradshaw would have a paper due on a Sunday. I think I'm doing it on William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell. At least I have all tomorrow to work on it. I also realized that I don't have a mid-term for Romanticism, so that is a relief. One less thing to study for.
I am pretty much over whatever it was that knocked me out of commission for a few days; a residual runny nose remains.
IT'S RAINING!!! Yea! I love the sound, I love the feel, I love the cool...
Morgan and I plan to start looking for wedding rings soon.
Oh, my Mom and John got married two weekends ago, and I forgot to mention it. Congratulations! I hope they had a good time in San Francisco.
We just finished reading selections from Paradise Lost for Restoration Literature. I think I'm going to try and squeeze in some time over spring break to read it in full. I also need to read Frankenstein for Romanticism over the break. (And do my project for Writing about Place, and finish a piece or two for The Well, and read a book for Colonial American Cultural Encounters... sheesh. Spring BREAK, huh?) I would also love to finish this webpage. It has so many blank holes in it that I don't even want to think about it. I have been approved for my forty-hour work contract for the week, too, for the Housing office. I will be building them a new webpage. Anyway... All of that is what I plan to do over the week break starting the seventeenth. I know I'll only get to half of it, but at least I have goals!
This entry has been awfully run-of-the-mill every-day-ho-hums, and I apologize. I think I've just been too busy to do anything else.
Today we worked on some design possibilities for the print version of The Well. Nothing definite yet, but we have some ideas. I wish we had a bigger budget. OH YEAH! We have been granted office space in the Student Center located in the same building as the Cafeteria and Book Store! I don't know how big it will be yet, but hey, a brand-new, just-constructed office? Sure! There is a slim chance we will also get a new computer for the crew... Wish us luck.
I am honestly wishing I am not such a busy girl. My being is so tired.
