June 27, 2000 ~ Camera, Beliefnet, Kim...

I bought a digital camera for The Well yesterday. Louise came by and told me that we still had a ton of money left in our account, and we needed to spend it. I ended up getting one of these. I can't wait for it to arrive! Ryan and Scott (my coworkers) don't even know about it yet... I need to email them.

I have found a new site which has really got me addicted. http://www.beliefnet.com. Beliefnet. I am hooked to their discussion boards. If you are interested in spirituality or religion, then you may want to check it out.

It has been raining every day here. It is much cooler this summer than it was last summer here. This is a great relief to me, having come from a cooler climate.

By the way, I don't think I have mentioned it yet. I am working full-time in the housing office this summer. I am also working every lunch at the cafeteria, as the checker. I am the Summertime RA, too, and I am on duty for that this week. I am also taking care of about twenty rats and a garden for one of my professors. That's four paid jobs. I am also housesitting off and on for one other professor. It's kind of nice to get away from the dorms occasionally.

Thoughts and prayers out to Kim, who just lost her job because of some things she wrote about in her journal. I hope something good can come of it.

So that's a little catch-up for you.
