November 22, 2006 ~ Gathering

Wednesday.

I turned twenty-seven yesterday. Morgan spent the whole day spoiling me. We had a lot of fun with Grove. It was nice.

Thanksgiving, tomorrow. We are hosting, this year. Lisa, our old housemate, is driving down today from Pennsylvania to share the holiday with us. Morgan's mother, step-father, and brother will be driving up from the piedmont tomorrow. I can't wait to see each of them. Our friends and family are spread to the four winds, so these gatherings are very special.

The food is bought; I will pick up a last few essentials at the store this afternoon. We need to figure out how to fit six adults and a little person in a high chair at our tiny table in our little kitchen. With only five chairs. It'll work out. Magic.

Cleaning. Pulling out candles. Clearing out the guestroom. Morgan, pouring over cookbooks. "Ooh, wouldn't it be good if we made that mint cranberry sauce?"

"I'll add fresh mint to my list."

It's going to be delicious. To those of you celebrating, have a beautiful Holiday.
